Yona Lee

Yona Lee lives and works in Auckland and holds an MFA from Elam School of Fine Arts, 2010. In 2016, Lee undertook two residencies consecutively in Seoul at SeMA Nanji, supported by Asia New Zealand Foundation/Creative New Zealand Foundation, at Geumcheon Art Space.

Yona currently works as a Teaching Fellow at Elam School of Fine Arts and supports the Studio International, a network for second-language and international students studying at the art school. 

As part of the AAAH2018 Symposium @ Te Papa, Yona Lee was part of the New Topologies panel, in conversation with Simon Kaan and Jon He, facilitated by Kerry Ann Lee.
