Professor Yiyan Wang

Professor Yiyan Wang is Director for Research and Postgraduate Studies, School of Languages and Cultures, Victoria University. She has published widely  on modern Chinese literature and culture. Her research interests also include critical theory and diaspora studies. Currently she is completing a book project on the intellectual debate about China’s art reform in the early twentieth century.

As part of the AAAH2018 Symposium @ Te Papa, Yiyan Wang was part of the Distant Relatives panel, in conversation with Balamohan Shingade and Grace Lai, facilitated by Emma Ng.
