Kerry Ann Lee

Kerry Ann Lee is a visual artist, designer and Senior Lecturer in Design at Massey University, in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. Lee creates installation, print and image-based work. She is also known for her independent publishing and involvement with diverse communities through art commissions, exhibitions, workshops and public programmes. Lee has undertaken international residencies in China, Taiwan, US, Mexico and Australia and exhibits regularly in New Zealand. Her current solo exhibition, Fruits in the Backwater at Pātaka Art + Museum celebrates Aotearoa New Zealand as a remote archipelago on the verge of on rupture as Lee takes stock of the cultural nuances that make us who we are. 

As part of the AAAH2018 Symposium @ Te Papa, Kerry Ann Lee spoke at the Welcome & Closing Remarks as the Creative Director of AAAH2018. Kerry Ann also facilitated the New Topologies panel which included Simon KaanYona Lee and Jon He.
